Fans of the late Michael Jackson are gathering in the centre of Cardiff at this very minute, to witness a tribute concert to the one and only King of Pop.
The Millennium stadium (which is right on my doorstep) is hosting this once in a lifetime event, and I don't have a ticket! Everyone seems to have one, and I have no idea where they are getting them from. Most people seem to be boasting of free tickets... where's mine?!
The concert is glamourosly entitled"Michael Forever: The Tribute Concert" and is hosted by the beautiful Fearne Cotton, who will be accompanied by Hollywood actor and singer, Jamie Foxx.
The star-studded line up includes Cee Lo Green, Christina Aguilera, Leona Lewis, JLS, and Beyonce, who will appear for the crowd to see via video.
The Black-Eyed-Peas were set to perform at the tribute concert, but "unavoidable circumstances," which have rumoured to be the splitting-up of the band, have led them to not be able to make an appearance in Cardiff tonight.
Radio 1 reported earlier on today that Jackson's children have now arrived in the city, who include Prince, 14, Paris, 13, and Michael Joseph Jr., who is known as blanket.
The mother of Michael and his siblings, Katherine, is reported to be among the many thousands of people entering the stadium, along with Michael's brothers and sisters, some of which will be singing in remembrance of their brother. Katherine, Michaels mother said the concert will be "exactly the way Michael would have wanted to be remembered."
So as the crowds of fans gather outside the stadium tonight, will you be a part of the magical tribute? If I don't manage to get my hands on a spare ticket, I will definitely have my own tribute to Jackson at home, as nothing beats an MJ album and a glass of wine.
Rest in Peace Michael Jackson, as this concert will prove, you will never be forgotten as the King of Pop, and your music will live on, even if you're gone.
Welcome to my blog, where I write articles on anything that tickles my fancy, from music to film, to the latest news stories and headlines! Hope you enjoy!

Beat of my drum..
Well well well! Who would have thought the ginger one from Girls Aloud would release such a good solo song!? Nicola Roberts was always my personal favourite.. (probably because of her hair colour) but who knew she could actually sing and dance? I definitely didn't!
Her new song Beat of My Drum has pretty much proved all of her critics wrong, with her quirky dance routine and not to forget the fantastic song itself which draws comparison to the likes of Gwen Stefani's Hollaback Girl.
It is simply brilliant to hear a great song come from the members of Girls Aloud's solo careers, as in my eyes, Cheryl Cole pretty much fell face first with some of her releases.
Beat of My Drum is a little bit crazy to say the least, but gives us a taste of Nicola's personality, which is nice to see since she was perhaps the most overlooked member of Girls Aloud. Now I realise what a shame that was, because her unique voice is finally able to shine through, without Nadine Coyle stealing the limelight!
Roberts' debut solo album Cinderella's Eyes is due to be released this summer, and after hearing her first single from the album, I can't wait to hear some more! Team Ginge!

A bit of an ole' let down?
Pirates of the Caribbean has always been one of my weaknesses when it comes to cheesy Disney films, probably because The Curse of the Black Pearl was so amazingly good. However, the latest of the Pirate instalment On Stranger Tides, was a slight let down for me, as I felt that it was what I call, a 'bum ache' film.
I can't fault Johnny Depp, as he is pretty much the love of my life. I felt his jokes and personality definately rescued the film from an early death, you know, people demanding their money back, leaving the cinema and throwing popcorn at the screen on their way out. However, Penelope Cruz is no Kiera Knightly, and in my eyes, failed to make a convincing pirate.
The film seemed to keep covering old grounds, the storyline was slightly different but too similar to previous films, and the adventure seemed that much less exciting. I did, however, go to see the film in IMAX 3D, (which I didn't even know existed,) and thoroughly enjoyed the special effects and crystal clear picture.
So basically, I feel like a scrooge. I enjoyed the film, but not half as much as I expected to, and I think thats why I was so let down. Let's hope the new director of the Pirates films can come back with a better storyline next time.
Am I being too critical? Hmm. Let me know what you thought of the film. Was it worth a yo ho ho and a bottle of rum, or should we give up and sing It's a Pirates life for me?
