'Stupid girls?!'
Ok, so a series of unfortunate events led to me not going to the film, i.e. my watch stopping causing me to miss it! But never mind, I found myself not so much bored, but intrigued, when i stumbled across this quote when trawling through the internet:
"A part of me will always love Ashley. Looking back on it I feel numb. We had a great marriage and a fantastic wedding day but I don’t know where it went wrong. To this day I still question that." (To see more of the interview, see the link provided.)
This comes from the one and only Cheryl Cole, the lady whom I have always admired to a certain extent. But when her husband Ashley Cole cheated on her, and she decided to 'give him another chance,' I lost all respect for her and what she previouly stood for.. which in my eyes was a successful woman who had come from a tough background, but had managed to make herself a success, despite the hard work that had to go into it. Because when she decided to take him back, was basically just, in my eyes, giving him permission to do it again; which, surprisingly, he did.
You'd think by now, that Cheryl, being the successful role model that she is, that she would stand up for herself, and show Ashely that she has moved on and has a better life without the worry of his infidelity. Instead she is boasting her undying love for him... Will she ever learn?!
