A pleasant Hangover or a Hangover from hell?

Lately, I've heard a lot of people talking about Hangover Part II. Some people have a lot of positive things to say about it, but to be honest, I've heard more negatives, but that may be because I'm looking for them!
I wasn't the biggest fan of the first Hangover. I found it amusing, and the chinese guy was hilarious, there is no doubting that. However, to me, it seemed slightly repetitive and predictable. I won't say I didn't enjoy it though, because I would be telling porkies. I know many people who loved the first film and I don't blame them. It is nice when a comedy film is actually funny, unline most of the  films released these days, which turn out to be total let downs.
The Hangover part II is set to break $125 Million at the box office, which isn't surprising. The first Hangover was an impressive comedy, but is it really necessary to make another one? From what I have seen, the second Hangover follows pretty much the same storyline as the first, which makes it more predictable than the first, which to me, would be unbearable.
Of course, a group of men getting ridiculously drunk and dealing with the consequences of their actions the next morning is amusing, but the same storyline in a different country, really?
I am planning on seeing the second one, and may have to eat my words if it's as good as most people are saying. Am I just a miserable grinch? Or should they be packing their bags and heading back home?

Maxi's galore!

I've got a confession to make. I've become a bit of a shop-a-holic lately! The only problem is, I find it hard to find clothes that fit me, mainly because I lack in height! Whenever I order clothes from a website, they are without fail, too big or too long! However, I do have my lovely mother, who is able to take up just about everything! So my short legs will not stop me from buying these gorgeous dresses I have seen online.

I fancied a nice casual maxi for my holiday, you know, one you can wear on the beach but also on those lovely summer nights. I think this one is just perfect...
You can buy this one from your local Dorothy Perkins. The colours are just fabulous and how lovely would this look with a pair of black sandals?

Another dress I have my eye on is one from Miss Selfridge...
A little more dressy, but still quite casual. This dress is just stunning! I am so excited to add this to my wardrobe!
The previous dress, however, has strong competition with another gorgeous Maxi from Miss Selfridge also...
The flower detail down the middle of the dress would be oh so flattering. I think this one is a must have!
Let me know what you think, do you have any gorgeous Maxi's on your mind? I definitely do...I just hope my suitcase is big enough!

The Blues...

So this morning, I woke up at roughly ten o'clock. I went downstairs, made some breakfast and snuggled up on my sofa to watch my morning fix of Jeremy Kyle. The next thing I knew, I was opening my eyes and thinking, what just happened? Typically, after a twelve hour sleep, I had fallen asleep, yet again. While wiping the dribble from my face, (attractive, I know) I realised that I had not only missed the whole of Jeremy Kyle, I had missed This Morning too (to some people, this might not sound that bad, but for me, this is pretty much the end of the world.)
So that is what I call a waste of a morning, when I could have been filling my head with such useful informaton from highly intellectual programmes, I was dreaming of sheep and creating dribble. Let's hope tomorrow is a little more productive, eh?

Guilty Pleasures

Ok, so I know I'm supposed to be young and fit, but nothing beats a day spent lazing around watching day time television, am I right? I think so.
Today was supposed to be one of those days, where you hear the rain on your window and think, today, I am not leaving the house!
Anyway, one thing led to another, meaning my ;azy day turned out to be slightly less lazy, and more action packed! With a visit to Physical Graffiti to book my tattoo and a nice little shop in Cardiff, accompanied with a KFC, of course.
When I arrived home from my ever so stressful day, I thought to myself, I would love to indulge in every type of food possible right now... and since then, my evening has consisted of craving just about anything that isn't in my fridge or cupboards.
I thought I'd compile a list of my guilty pleasures, so you can get to know me a little better. You know, thing that you wouldn't want to risk not taking to a desert island with you. Most of my list obviously consists of food, but have a look, and let me know what your guilty pleasures consist of!

-My phone (which is a crappy Blackberry at the moment, but soon to be an I Phone 4.)
-Spaghetti Bolognaise, how could I go without my favourite meal?
-My bed...Ooh its a comfy one!
-Facebook.. I just can't imgine life without it, how sad!
-Slippers, cold feet = my version of hell.
-Shampoo - greasy hair is so wrong.
-KFC, sounds greedy but it's just so good!
-A Lady Gaga CD- probably should be at the top of this list! Couldn't live without my daily Gaga fix!
-Razor- what girl wants gorrila legs? Not me, thats for sure!
-Galaxy, melted Galaxy is to die for. Oh wait, that also means I'd need a...
-Microwave (because I can't cook to save my life!)

Tattoo!

So I didn't wimp out, and I actually went to book my tattoo today. £60 deposit, so there's no going back! Not that I would anyway, I'm so excited. The only problem is I've got to wait till 7th June, which isn't far away at all, but my patience makes me tink otherwise!
The people in Physical Graffiti were lovely, and the place smells and looks really clean. I 'm definitely nervous, but the sound of tattoo guns would make things worse for me, so the fact that their guns are silent is a bonus.
So wish me luck, I will let you know how it goes and probably upoad a picture for you to see.I'm lookng forward to my holiday even more now that I am going to have a lovely tattoo, one that I have always wanted as well.
Oooh and before family members comment saying it's a bad idea and not to do it because I'll regret it, I know I won't. Everyone should know by now just how strong minded I am... or maybe the word is stubborn!

Decisions decisions...

This is a blog about tattoos, so if you are in any way interested in tattoos, please help me out!
Having wanted a tattoo for about ten years now, I've finally decided to pluck up the courage and book it! I've been seriously considering it for about two months now, and the fact that I havem't had one done yet i drivingme slightly crazy. Okay, so i I'm a bit worried about the pain... I'm not a lover of pain myself but I think I'm probably 150% prepared for it because I'm imagining the worst and freaking myself out.
So tomorrow is going to be the day I book the tattoo, (unless I chicken out at the smell of disinfectant like last time) so I was wondering if you would like to help me out. Here's a few pictures of the designs I'm considering. Let me know what you think, and if you are feeling generous, I would love you to send me some inspirational ideas and pictures to help me make a decision!

Here's one that I love...
But I have loved this one for years...
Feel free to comment, you'd be a great help!

A bit of an ole' let down?

Pirates of the Caribbean has always been one of my weaknesses when it comes to cheesy Disney films, probably because The Curse of the Black Pearl was so amazingly good. However, the latest of the Pirate instalment On Stranger Tides, was a slight let down for me, as I felt that it was what I call, a 'bum ache' film.

I can't fault Johnny Depp, as he is pretty much the love of my life. I felt his jokes and personality definately rescued the film from an early death, you know, people demanding their money back, leaving the cinema and throwing popcorn at the screen on their way out. However, Penelope Cruz is no Kiera Knightly, and in my eyes, failed to make a convincing pirate.
The film seemed to keep covering old grounds, the storyline was slightly different but too similar to previous films, and the adventure seemed that much less exciting. I did, however, go to see the film in IMAX 3D, (which I didn't even know existed,) and thoroughly enjoyed the special effects and crystal clear picture.
So basically, I feel like a scrooge. I enjoyed the film, but not half as much as I expected to, and I think thats why I was so let down. Let's hope the new director of the Pirates films can come back with a better storyline next time.
Am I being too critical? Hmm. Let me know what you thought of the film. Was it worth a yo ho ho and a bottle of rum, or should we give up and sing It's a Pirates life for me?

Distractions!

Have you ever been trying to do an essay, but all you can focus on are the distractions around you? Well that's what I feel like today. Actually, it's what I feel like every time I try to write an essay! I guess everyone is guilty of losing concentration once in a while, you know, looking for something more exciting to do than their actual essay.. but I can assure you, I am the worst. Whatever distraction I can possibly find, I will use it as a way to have a 'five minute break' from my essay, which then somehow turns out being an hour break! If I'm not on Facebook looking for people to stalk, (not in a weird way) I will be on Twitter, or Youtube, or any website that possibly could interest me more than my boring essay does. Apparently right now, that website is Blogger. So I'll let you know my essay mark! It probably won't be as good as if my essay was on 'How to distract yourself from what you're actually supposed to be doing.' If that essay ever comes along, I'll be sure to write it, unless I get distracted of course.

Gaga, ooh la la!

So, did you see Lady Gaga headline Radio 1's Big Weekend last night? If you missed it, you've definitely missed out! Just when everyone thought Gaga couldn't possibly compete with any of her previous live performances, last night proved them totally wrong!

Lady Gaga arrived on the main stage in a Gold coffin, with a fake baby bump and some of the biggest heels I've ever seen.
She performed songs from The Monster Ball such as Bad Romance and Pokerface, and even sang some of her amazing new songs from her new album Born This Way, which is due to be released at the end of May.
I was particularly impressed by her wonderful stage presence, and although I have seen her live before, last night's show was astonishingly impressive. She sang one of her latest songs from the Born This Way album entitled 'The Edge of Glory,' which was my particular favourite, as it showed off her beautifully unique voice.
Other Acts at the Big Weekend included My Chemical Romance, The Strokes, and Noah and The Whale, who all performed to a high standard.
However, there is no denying that Gaga deserved to headline last night, as thing is for sure, the Queen of Pop never fails to impress!

Lack of contact, Cheryl?

A lovely looking Katie Waissel appeared at last nights National Movie Awards with more than a few things to say about her previous X Factor judge and mentor Cheryl Cole. When asked on the Red Carpet if she had congratulated Cheryl on her new X Factor US job, Katie said "I don't even have her number, but if you want to pass the message on, well done Cheryl!"

Is it just me or does that sound slightly sarcastic?

X Factor star Katie Waissel has a message for Cheryl Cole

Katie didn't stop there either! When asked to comment on Cheryl's new look, Katie said "each to their own." We'll have to wait and see what Cheryl thinks about Katie's remarks.
Do I sense a cat fight coming on?!

DJ Skeet Skeet

News of a new DJ has started to fill my ears! DJ Skeet Skeet has recently been discovered and performed as Katy Perry's support act on her UK California Gurls Tour. Seeing Skeet Skeet in Cardiff was a delight back in April, where he played recent songs that had been impressively remixed, making the croud extremely excitable!
Performing at Katy Perry's concert is quite a big deal! So let's hope DJ Skeet Skeet can make it! With his impressive Summer sounds, he might even make it into our chart!
On his website, Skeet Skeet posts all of his new and upcoming videos and songs for you all to hear. He has some potential let me tell you! Visit his website at EatSkeet.com and let me know what you think!
