Live Music Now is a non-profit music charity, which is reaching out to young musicians in Wales, to come forward with their talents.
LMN is the largest provider of live music to the UK's welfare, educational, justice and health sectors.
Venezuelan Carlos Chirinos is an Ethnomusicologist based at the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London, and is accompanying the organisation in holding an open day on Wednesday 12th October at Chapter Arts Centre in Cardiff from 2-4pm.
LMN’s mission is ‘To bring the joy and inspiration of live music to those who have limited access to conventional music-making.
They are inviting young world musicians along to their event, where they will be informed about auditioning to get involved in the scheme.
World music can include music from across the globe, which relates to the origin of the musician.
LMN's music programmes which comprise of over 3,000 events each year, deliver social, emotional, physical and educational benefits to participants of all ages and abilities.
The Facebook page for LMN states that you should apply if ‘You are a young professional musician wanting to take your music beyond the concert hall, into the community.
